Crack Shack Encinitas is the second addition to the Crack Shack Restaurant Concept after successful completion of Crack Shack Little Italy The Encinitas project repurposes a dated building that was formerly a Coco’s and Azar’s Big Boy and had fallen into neglect and disrepair. We stripped away layers of faux wood paneling, lay-in ceiling tile, and moldy carpet to reveal a beautiful skeleton of a building beneath.
The structure features Douglas fir t+g siding, large gluelam beams, and brick. The design features custom wall murals, retractable roof, cornhole arena and custom designed furniture. Work around included furr out of roof and frame a gap to conceal gas and fire sprinkler piping in open beam ceiling.
